I have been a fan of Your Pie for a long time because it’s conveniently placed, well run, and most importantly, delicious. The members of the staff are friendly and have an array of warm personalities paired with great senses of humor. I tested out 3 different entrees at Your Pie to put them to the test.

The first item I tried was just a plain cheese pizza on white dough. In my personal opinion, the pizza sauce and dough was the best part of this cheese pizza. Don’t get me wrong, the cheese itself tasted good, however, it was not as captivating as I would have liked. That being said, I normally get a more complex order. It could just be how I’ve gotten used to the complexity of a featured item on their menu. This item is 6 out of 10 in my book.

Next, I tried the regular cheese sticks and marinara sauce. To be completely honest, these cheese sticks tasted like I just ordered Jet’s cheese pizza. I don’t like Jet’s pizza in the slightest. If I wanted to have cheap, dry-but-somehow-greasy-at-the-same-time pizza, I’d get it in the lunch line at school. However, these are the best for when you just want something quick, easy, and cheap to share with your friends. This is a 7.5 out of 10.

The third and final item I tried was the Ischia specialty pizza with added marinara and pesto sauce. This one is definitely more on my level of complexity and craziness. Between the garlic and the basil and tomatoes, it’s like heaven on a platter. I, personally, do not like olive oil, so I add the pesto sauce and marinara to add even flavors to this layered delicacy. This pizza combination is definitely my favorite thing on the menu. This entree is a larger-than-life 10 out of 10.

The neighborhood Your Pie is a great place to hang out with your friends or just sit and do homework. Meet up with and old classmate or catch up on the reading for Lit. The possibilities are endless and unrivaled. The divine pizza, gelato, salad, cheese sticks that you can get there are just yet another addition to the welcoming atmosphere of Your Pie.
