1. Snow Mountain and Stone Mountain Christmas
Snow Mountain gives Atlanta a taste of a white Christmas with a 400 foot snow covered mountain and the SnowZone. On the mountain there is tubing for all ages and the SnowZone is as close as it gets to a winter wonderland. It does not stop there, Stone Mountain Christmas lights up during the holiday season with almost every building stranded with colorful lights. Also, the park has meet and greets with a variety of classic holiday characters.
2. Avalon On Ice
Every year Avalon host “Avalon On Ice” where the part of the main places in Avalon is transformed in an ice skating rink. Avalon gets a Christmas and holiday vibe with the ice skating rink and the building and trees are lit up with lights. Santa also has his own house right outside the skating rink. Avalon On Ice is opens an hour before it is open to the public with a magical ice skating performance.
3. The Nutcracker
Atlanta Ballet will be presenting the Nutcracker over the holiday season. They will be showing form December 8 to December 24, and multiple times are available. It will be hosted by the Fox theatre and multiple times are available. Tickets cost from 35 dollars to 140 dollars. There will be a new and more modern form of the Nutcracker presented this year.
