My dream vacation consists of travelling to the Mediterranean, going to the beach, visiting historical sites and trying all the foods. Because I can’t go anywhere, I decided to cook Mediterranean turkey meatballs, and pretend I am in Santorini sitting on the beach.

The ingredients you need are:

 – ground turkey (at least 93/7 fat, nothing leaner)

– spinach

– Trader Joe’s Mediterranean seasoning (without this ingredient you would just have turkey meatballs)

– onion salt

– chile pepper

Once you have gathered all the ingredients, combine them all in a medium size bowl. Make sure to cut your spinach into smaller pieces, or else they will not stay in the meatball. Also, make sure you add a generous amount of Mediterranean seasoning to ensure that you get all the Mediterranean vibes.

After mixing all the ingredients with your hands, form medium sized turkey meatballs and place them in a pan. Make sure to make them all the same size or they will not cook evenly.

Cook your turkey meatballs on a medium heat and add a small amount of water to prevent them from drying out. Cover the pan and let them cook for 5-10 minutes. The temperature they need to be cooked at is to 165 degrees.

These Mediterranean turkey balls go perfect with rice, vegetables, or sweet potatoes. Serve them up with tahini and any other sauces/sides, and you are practically in Greece.
