Mosquitoland by David Arnold is an incredible book that is told from the point of view of a feisty girl named Mim Malone. Mim’s life is hectic and she needs answers to mysteries that bewilder her. The book is full of unexpected twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat. Throughout her journey, Mim meets many new people that will change her life forever. The characters in the book are easy to fall in love with and the character development is astounding. As you read from her point of view, you learn many lessons and contemplate certain aspects of her life as she gains a sense of independence and a need for exploration. This book contains the perfect balance of happy giddy moments and heartfelt moments that will leave your heart throbbing. I think it is difficult to not fall in love with this book because it will make you think areas of life that you had not considered before.
