This debut launched him into mainstream success, and ever since Kahan has grown more popular and is gaining more fans by the day.
While Stick Season was released on Oct. 13, 2022, Kahan has made two new versions of the album, including the original 14 tracks and additional ones. The album, Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever), was released on June 8, 2023, featuring 6 new tracks along with the original album tracks. The single, “Forever,” was a track Kahan had been previewing on Tiktok for months prior to the release. Kahan states on a Rolling Stones interview, “Forever is a long time. This album cycle has felt like forever, and I’ve loved every second of it. I have loved living in this world. I have never felt more comfortable in my own skin, more proud of what I was representing in my songwriting and more vindicated by the response to a record that was really an extension of my soul.”
Each of the 3 final tracks to the album all are great additions and perfectly complete the album. Fans are very excited about what Kahan has in store for what’s next.
