Taylor Swift is known for having an impeccable style when it comes to her outfits. Since the beginning of her current tour, the Era’s Tour, she has been seen in at least 16 unique different outfits. Rain or shine, Swift certainly makes a statement when it comes to her concerts.
The Performance starts with her 2019 album Lover where she is first seen wearing an Atelier Versace Bodysuit. In addition, she wears a very glittery glam grey, blue, and black blazer in her performance during “The Man” and “You Need to Calm Down”. To finish the look, the outfit has a pair of Christian Louboutin high heeled boots that of course have glitter on them too.
All costumes worn during the show are paired Louboutin heels. Although most have glitter on them and are boots, both the Reputation and 1989 parts of the show differ from this. They both have boots paired with the outfit but are shorter than the other eras.
For the Fearless era, Swift dances her way onto the stage wearing stylish Robert Cavalli dresses. All the beautiful gold dresses have fringes around them which makes her spin look effortless and fun.
Next, during her evermore encore she wears several different, but unique gowns all featured in a burgundy brownish color made by Etro. These gowns are by far the most stunning and make Swift look so beautiful while on the piano and dancing.
The boldest looks were seen during Reputation and fans were fascinated by her long one leg Robert Cavalli snake cat suit. She wore this throughout the entire performance and absolutely looked amazing. The snake across the one pant leg side was so incredibly handcrafted by the designer.
I was “Enchanted” to say the least when I saw Swift walk out of the stage wearing a big and bold purple gown during the Speak Now performance. It has layers of various shades of purple with a light shimmer of glitter to make it pop. The neckline is a V-neck shaped which is so simple but stunning. Another gown she wore for performances in other cities is long sleeved with white flowers all around the dress.
Other designers that made gowns for the Speak Now performance include Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab.
Right after she sang “Enchanted” the show jumped right into the next era, Red. The iconic T-shirt from the album has had a few different humorous versions. My favorite is “Who is Taylor Swift anyway? Ew.”
Traveling back to the fancy parties of Long Island, Folklores gowns were all very flowy and simple. They were much more elegant and not as outgoing as the other previous outfits. Alberta Ferretti did an excellent job with each one of the gowns that were all embroidered in a beautiful lace in various colors.
The last album to perform before the surprise songs was 1989. She wore a sequined matching top and skirt set made by Robert Cavalli. As she was performing and all the lights were shining, the sequins really made Swift stand out.
Quickly, after the 1989 performance Swift was rushed as she changed to her surprise song dress. The dress is put over her matching skirt and top that she wore from the last performance so she can change quickly. It is a beautiful and simple elegant Jessica Jones dress that she has worn several times in all different colors.
Finally, to finish out the show for Midnights she had several different outfit changes.
At the beginning of the performance, she wore an Oscar de la Renta t-shirt dress and matching jacket then revealed a matching bodysuit. For other performances she has had custom made bodysuits by Zuhair Murad. All the bodysuits are dark blue and surprisingly not too revealing.
For the finale she brought out a jacket for “Karma” that had multiple different colors on it and sequins. The jacket really made the show come together during the finale when all the confetti fell with the fireworks.
There isn’t an outfit Swift can’t pull off and I’m so excited for this upcoming year of concerts to see what else she will wear.
