The most wonderful time of the year has arrived and with that comes fun and unique events to do in Atlanta. First, there are the Garden Lights Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Walk around the gardens and see over 30 acres of breathtaking lights. Admire their brand-new attraction, synchronized lights that dance to the music being played, along with returning attractions such as the walk of flames (a walkway full of fire pits to roast marshmallows and the tunnel of light along with crowd favorites like orchestral orbs and the classic family favorite model trains).

Snow Mountain at Stone Mountain:

Do you want to build a snowman? If so, come slide down a 400-foot snow-covered hill. You can tube down long slopes or, if you’re less of a thrill seeker, then maybe the snowy area is the place for you to have a snowball fight, build a snowman or make a snow angel. Whether you are racing down the slopes in a giant tube or are making snow angels, Snow Mountain is the perfect spot for your winter wonderland destination.

Holiday in the Park:

Go big! Go bright!  Holiday lights at Six Flags over Georgia is here! While riding coasters and having a magical time, take a stroll through Peppermint Plaza, then tumble down to holiday hill, then twist and shout down to retro Christmas U.S.A. and then circle your way around Candlelight Carousel. If you enjoy enchanting nights with exhilarating rides, come to Holiday in the Park.

Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier Island:

For over 25 years, Lake Lanier has opened for its magical nights of lights. With every year, this light show grows more and more. The light display is over a seven-mile drive, with a new light attraction added on each year. While creating new memories, along with riding in your car seeing the lights, you can make stops along the way, like riding carnival rides or making smores.

Skate at the station:

Spin, twirl, glide and try not to fall. This holiday season skating at Atlantic station is back and has been voted the largest Ice Skating rink in the Southeast. Skate under the skyscrapers and stars.

Atlanta has lots of fun activities for all people to participate in over the holiday season!
