On Thursday, Nov. 14, a fight broke out amongst the Browns and Steelers, resulting in the suspension and fining of three players and the teams involved. Myles Garrett, the Browns’ defensive end, took off Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph’s helmet and bashed his head with it. Multiple other players joined in on the fight after this, with Steelers players David DeCastro and Maurkice Pouncey throwing Garrett down, punching and kicking him. Players from the sidelines joined in also, turning one impulsive, violent act into a full-on brawl. Garrett has been fined and suspended indefinitely. Browns player Larry Ogunjobi and Steelers player Maurkice Pouncey have also been suspended and their teams were fined $250,000. The game ended moments later, with the Browns win over the Steelers 21-7. A legal fight is likely to emerge in the near future.
