If you ever find yourself heading to H-town and you have no idea what to do, this list of the top 4 things to do, including restaurants, shops, and activities in amazing Houston, Texas.

  1. Houston Galleria

When you find yourself in a shopping mood, head on over to this upscale shopping mall that has a variety of shops (a mixture of upscale and mainstream stores). Along with various restaurants and a skating rink in the middle of the mall, take the day and shop till you drop while also enjoying a bite to eat. And while you’re there you may catch a glimpse of Beyoncé.

  1. Lee’s Chicken and Donuts

If you find yourself craving a savory and sweet snack head on over to Lee’s Chicken and Doughnuts. This famous restaurant sells itself with its famous two glazed doughnuts and between the sweets is two crispy and juicy chicken tenders. It is one of the most amazing things I have tasted and I highly recommend it.

  1. Astros Games

If you end up going to visit during the baseball season, I would highly recommend going to an Astros game. The Astros are a very well known baseball team and tend to be in the top ranks. The cool thing about the Astros stadium is that the stadium is built inside, so you get to enjoy the game with nice cool air conditioning and away from the Houston heat.

  1. Torchy’s Tacos

This restaurant is in a very cool part of town called the Highlands. The vibe of this restaurant is quite similar to Tin Lizzy’s or Bartaco where you order two to four individual tacos that are different or similar if you choose. They have a very large variety of tacos from mild to Torching. One fun and different thing about Torchy’s is that they can make the guacamole in front of you at your table. That part is super fun and entertaining.
