Review of the famous Tiktok feta pasta

Like many trends on Tiktok, this delicious pasta recipe has become one of the most well-known recipes and is extremely easy to make. Many Tiktok users have posted tutorials or recipe videos to show how to make this pasta. They have used different ingredients and provided various instructions to accompany the needs of every cook.

I recently cooked this pasta with my family of 6, and it fed all of us with even some left over. The portion and serving size is plenty and the pasta itself is quite filling. All together, the process took about 45 minutes to cook, which is great for an easy dinner when people don’t feel like preparing something that has a lengthy list of ingredients—and takes too much time to complete. 

To make this pasta, I used a medium sized dish and then served into smaller bowls for each of the family members. For extra taste and a better source of protein, I added Italian sausage as well which is an ingredient I recommend, if the viewers are not vegetarian. The sausage added some spice to the pasta, but one could also add Italian seasoning to make it more flavorful. 

This pasta leaves eaters with a savory and salty taste. There are not many ingredients needed, which is a fantastic advantage to begin with. The ingredients are listed below to make the desired amount: 

  • 2 pints of cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil 
  • Kosher salt and pepper 
  • 1 8-ounce block of feta cheese, drained 
  • 10 oz of one’s favorite pasta (I recommend bow tie or rigatoni) 
  • 1 garlic clove, minced 
  • ¼ cup of basil leaves 


The directions to make the pasta are listed below: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 420 degrees 
  2. Get a baking dish large enough for the pasta desired. Put the feta block in the middle of the dish and lay the cherry tomatoes around the cheese throughout the dish. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic to the top of this mixture as well. Mix evenly. 
  3. Put the sauce mixture into the oven for about 30 minutes. 
  4. Get another pot and place it on the stove and bring the water to a boil. Cook the desired time from the box instructions. 
  5. Take the sauce mixture out of the oven and stir it together to melt the cheese into the tomatoes. 
  6. Drain the pasta, and fold it into the sauce mixture. 
  7. Serve and add more salt if desired!
