Teamwork, dedication, and fortitude are what made the team persevere through the game and end up on top. With a fantastic season full of wins, the focus and determination of the Roswell Girls volleyball team led them to being in the playoffs. The team has nine new players, that made a great addition to the team, helping them get into the playoffs. With ups and downs, the team never lost hope. The faith they had in their team helped them beat Norcross recently.

The first match started up with Roswell and Norcross being tied up with 1 set each. On the fifth and final set, both teams were tied with 2 sets. The team did not stop fighting to win the game. The team’s non-stop attention made their playoff season look promising.

Senior captain and team member, Mia Triveley said, “The game was amazing, unfortunately we lost the first set, but we won the second one. Norcross won the third set, and we won the fourth set. We were neck and neck, we kept being tied, but we fought hard and decided to put in all the effort we had to win the fifth set. We won the fifth set and that made the team so happy. I think the win was due to the full effort we applied, the fact that we worked as a team, we had good energy throughout our whole game, and we kept an excited attitude throughout the whole game. I loved how the game was so exciting and had so much energy the whole time. It really made sure we were focused and worked together as a team”.
