Our chorus group had the chance to venture to London on Mar. 26 to Mar. 30. Their trip included being able to sightsee, hear music, and enjoy the authentic meals of England.
On Mar. 26, their tour began with an overnight flight from Atlanta to London, England. The next day, they visited Windsor Castle, which is home to the British monarchy. After breakfast the next morning, they enjoyed the sights of London and got to visit filming locations from the Harry Potter movies. That night they enjoyed a show at the famous West End theater.
The following afternoon, they got to go on a boat cruise then have a farewell dinner. On Mar. 30, the London tour ended when the chorus group took a flight from London back to Atlanta.
The students enjoyed the experience that the trip gave them. Seeing the differences between the United States and Europe was intriguing. For example, the culture, language, and lifestyle are different. The historical buildings were beautiful, and the various foods were good.
They said their favorite part was the architecture along with seeing a performance of Wicked at the West End Theater. Walking a lot was the worst part. They liked spending time and having this experience with their friends.

Dr. Usher, who organized the event, decided on London due to the educational experience. He wanted the chorus group to experience the different food, culture, music, and history of it. He enjoyed seeing students’ reactions to the new country. Seeing the students’ faces brighten made his day.
Overall, the trip went amazingly well. We congratulate the chorus team for their musical efforts. You can use this website to support them.
