In 2018, My Fantasy football team came in last place in my friend’s league. The prize for first place was 120 dollars. I have now realized the key to an excellent team that will lead me to the cash prize. All you need is a solid Quarterback, and a spectacular defense. This year I drafted Patrick Mahomes, one of the most talented Quarterbacks in the NFL. Mahomes has led my fantasy team to a 3-0 start with an average of 28.9 points per game. In my defense, I chose the Minnesota Vikings. This skilled defense plays their hearts out every Sunday averaging 9.3 points per game. With a solid start, I am in first place out of a 12-player league.

Daily, I receive three trades just for Mahomes alone. Everyone is after Mahomes because of his high points per game average. When choosing a Quarterback and defense, you must look for consistency. Mediocre players don’t average a lot of points, which lowers your overall record. As my team strives for greatness, other players are waiting to knock me off the throne and take over first place. With thirteen weeks left in my Fantasy league I plan to crush my opponents and enjoy a nice cake walk to the 120 dollar prize.
