The Wallows have made yet another unexpected comeback to the music industry. On September 30th, the band released their new single titled “I Don’t Want to Talk” as a debut for an upcoming album. Although they have teased this so-called album, no information about a release date has come out yet. Their previous album, “Remote,” came out just last year, so I was shocked and more importantly excited when they announced their upcoming album so soon.  

“I Don’t Want to Talk” first appeared as a music video on YouTube. I watched the premiere, and it is my favorite music video the Wallows have ever done. Throughout the video, the boys take you on a musical journey explaining how they don’t need comfort and don’t want to talk. Multiple fun clips of them playing the guitar and acting out scenes bring you joy and laughter as if you are a part of the whole experience. Not only did the video itself impress me, but the song also set my expectations high for the upcoming album. It will be on repeat until the long-awaited album approaches.  

On the same day the Wallows released their new song, they announced part one of a North American tour, titled “Tell Me That its Over Tour.” Traveling to 26 different states in the U.S., the band will have 40 various shows across the country. As soon as tickets went on sale, I bought one for the Atlanta show in May, which will be held at the Coca-Cola Roxy. I cannot wait to experience another Wallows show and am anxiously awaiting their upcoming album!
