The RHS cheerleaders had a successful 2022-23 season making it to regionals and qualifying for state for the first time in 12 years. The cheer team also finished their season top 10 in the state of Georgia.

Senior captain Georgia Hardman says, “This team is truly special, and this year has been amazing.”

Before the girls stepped on the mat at state, senior captain Emily Baldauff says, “I am very confident in this team, and I think we will be able to do very well after our performance at regionals.”

When I asked the new head coach, Coach Manus, about how she felt before their performance at state, Manus said, “This team has worked hard to get where they are at now and they are going to keep working even harder this week so that they can do their best at state.”

The team had great success throughout the entire year, finishing with high scores in many of their competitions and being able to qualify for the regionals.

Manus has high expectations for the 2023-24 season and said, “This team is something special and I have high hopes for the future of this program with the young talent, along with the great leaders, that we have.”
