Five years ago, a girl named Pippa was living a normal life when unexpectedly, a girl in her village was murdered. She found out that the girl, Andie Bell, had gotten killed by her boyfriend Sal Singh and the body was never found. Pippa has many theories but none of them fully complete the story. She suspects it wasn’t an open and shut case and decides to look closer in on the story. Pippa insists that her investigating days were behind her, but she will have to break that promise when she knows someone had gone missing. She decides to make a study of the case for her final year project at school.

I loved the plot and suspense in the book. I would 100% recommend it to anyone who likes mystery books. I loved the characters and I almost feel like I had a relationship with them myself. The mystery was engaging and left me on the edge of my seat. The story was put together flawlessly and kept the mystery theme constant. I overall enjoyed the whole book and had no bad remarks.

Freshman Kate Phillips said, “I read lots of books and I think this is one of my favorite books by far. I think Pip is an iconic character. I am so excited for the new TV show to come out.”
