Just before summer could end, I made a last-minute trip to Big Sky Montana. The absurd number of mountains that surrounded me everywhere I looked amazed me, especially during sunset. Everyday we were out doing something, taking in the beauty of Montana all we could.

Not only did was I drawn to Montana’s unbelievable sights, but many activities are available with views of these beautiful sceneries. While taking a horseback ride, I crossed the Gallatin River, one of the prettiest features I saw in Big Sky. It looked like a painting accompanying plants, mountains, and rocks.

Yellowstone National Park is located about two hours away from Big Sky. Featuring hot springs, mountains, canyons, and geysers, it is one of the best sight seeing parks in the country. Much wildlife is also present in Yellowstone, Bison and Elk that hang out along the roads as you travel through the park. My favorite attraction at Yellowstone was The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Although you have to hike up and down many steep mountains for the best views of the waterfall, it is worth it.

The whole trip felt like a dream, and I would do anything to go back and visit again. I really recommend you go visit Big Sky Montana and make the best out of it!
